Six years ago, Christy Solar took her first mortgage job as a loan officer. She admits that she didn’t know much about the business.

Licensed since May 2011, she made Scotsman Guide’s list of top originators in U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) loan in her first full year. She has been recognized every year since for her USDA production. Christy has also been ranked in the top 1% by Mortgage Executive Magazine. She specializes in government purchase loans.

In 2015, Christy received the Sales Mastery Business Courage Award presented by The Duncan Group. She recently received the 2016 Darryl Jacobsen Business Courage Award presented by Fairway Independent Mortgage.

Christy lives in Denham Springs, Louisiana with her husband Mike and their 3 children; Claire, Michael, and Chloe’.
