Jan Copeland is the founder of Livy Girl Success Boutique. The 1st and only successful coaching and training company with a laser focus on helping women agents/brokers become outrageously successful! CEO of Douglas Eliman, Dottie Herman called Jan “the #1 coach for women” on her podcast Eye on Real Estate.
Jan grew up with a Mom who suffered from depression and feelings of poor self-worth and that had such an effect on her entire life and mission. “I feel like my role on this earth is to uplift as many women as I can, to truly understand and internalize so that it can be life-changing, their true self-worth. That they CAN be, do anything they want. That they can break-free of their low self-esteem, of questioning who they are and what they’re capable of!”
So after starting out as an agent with over $90,000 in credit card debt, at just the time the market was crashing in early 2000s, Jan, against all odds, quickly became top agent with so much business that she had to start a team to keep up with her leads. It took her 6 months for her 1st closing, but after that, she never went a month without a commission check, and in fact, most months had multiple closings, which grew exponentially. And just before selling her #1 team in 2017, she was making high 6 figures annually in a rural market where the average sales price was $250,000. Wanting to continue her passion of helping women understand their worth and value, she launched Sterling Women of Winchester (now called WOW- Women of Winchester) which is now in its 5th year.
Jan and her twin sister, Judy, started a Facebook Group, Girls Guide to Outrageous Real Estate Success, that has over 24,000 women agents, lenders, stagers, and others in the real estate profession who work together to share tips, ideas and empower one another. Millions of dollars in referrals have taken place in this group and there is a sisterhood within this group that is truly unprecedented.
In April of this year, Jan held the first annual Unstoppable Live Conference that welcomed over 500 women real estate agents to the DC Metro area and featured Dottie Herman, CEO of Douglas Elliman Real Estate as Keynote Speaker and had 20 other speakers including Tracy Tutor, top agent of Bravo TV’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Anna Kilinski top agent and team leader of Bravo TV’s Buying it Blind. The purpose of the conference was to bring together hundreds of women in a blingy, no-drama beautiful place to get recharged, pampered, empowered and educated. The women who attended formed a bond so tight, it was truly a unique experience!
Prior to real estate, Jan had a successful corporate career in the telecom industry where she rose to Director level before she was 30, managing a team of over 400 people and millions of dollars in budgets.
